A VERY busy Saturday & a LAZY Sunday

Saturday morning started out with me waking up at 6:45 am, I had to be in Orting around 8:30 but, Nolan decided to wake me a up little earlier than usual. A couple of weeks ago I decided I was going to run The Foothills 10k(6.2 miles) Dash. It was fun and I managed to run the whole thing in 60 minutes, I didn't really care what my time was just that I was able to run the whole thing. It was also a nice run along the foothills trail and a good portion of the run was alongside the river.
Next I came home, ate and showered and was off to Norah's preschool to help with a fundraiser garage sale. I was there for about 3 1\2 hours and it was fun to get to chat with some of the other mom's. While I was at the garage sale Casey and his Mom took the kids to visit Casey's grandma and have lunch. Once we were all back home I fixed the kids a quick dinner and got ready for a girls only PJ party.

Most of my co-workers have read some or all of the Twilight series books and since the movie came out yesterday on DVD we all just had to get together to watch it. We are all just a touch obsessed with Edward the main character, and it was a blast for all of us to watch the movie together. It was a fun time good drinks, good munchies and good friends. Tiffany even brought little Jackson and he was my own personal heater for a while during the movie, thanks Jackson. While I was at the PJ party Casey went over to Kory's(Tiffany's husband) to watch some GUY TV and have a couple beers. I had to drag him home at almost 1:00 am!

Our lazy Sunday.....
....consisted of staying in our PJ's all day! We didn't even leave the house, except to go out in the backyard and play for a little while when the sun came out. After getting to sleep in we had a late breakfast, played with the kids, gave them lunch and then all 4 of us took an afternoon nap. It was so nice and refreshing. I ordered pizza for dinner and now that the kids are in bed and asleep we're going to watch a movie. Lastly a big thanks to Grandma Jamie(Casey's mom) for staying the weekend with us. She helped out lots with the kids and made it possible for both of us to go out last night! She even cleaned and did laundry which was a nice treat. Here are some pictures from our lazy day today....this was the most productive thing we did. I loved today!

You are amazing to run a 10k... maybe that'll be a goal of mine when I'm done baking my babe. I'm doing the YMCA run for kids on April 4th it's a fun 5k... I'll be walking though (it's my 6th year in a row). Also... I love Edward too! I made Ash watch it with me Saturday night :) Secretly I think he wanted to watch it though to see what all the hype over Edward was :) Cute pictures of the kiddos! Also... we need to start planning something for our (yours mine and tiffany's) ten years of friendship anniversary! oh... I'll celebrate anything for a chance to escape with the girls!

Hey Beth! Great job on that run, and it looks fun. I would much rather do trail running then run around the track. Great job!
